SCIS Finding Things at our Library page

Silvana with 1A

Finding things in the library can be a big job. Whenever you are unsure, you should feel free to ask the Reference Librarian for help. The major duty of the Librarian is to help people find the books, magazines, information, and answers that they came in looking for. If they can't find it, they will usually know what you should do next. There are several ways to find information in the library. Most of the things that people look for in a library can be found by using the catalog as explained below.

SCIS Library OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog)

  1. In a web browser (Mozilla) enter the following web address: http://plone

    or
  2. Author - Enter all or first few letters of last name. e.g. Twain
    or
  3. Subject – Enter a topic or name e.g. Horses, Health, Easter
